According to studies, these fears are misguided. We assume that other people spend far more time passing judgment on us than they actually do. And, we overestimate how negative their perceptions are when they do think of us.

As humans, we are social by nature and how we are seen by others is a part of how we identify. It may be natural but that doesn’t mean it’s healthy. Which could eventually lead to approval anxiety. This ultimately places your happiness and fulfillment in the hands of other people. So it’s a nightmare for those of us who struggle with anxiety.

How do we stop worrying what other people think about us?

A lot is to do with how we have been conditioned. From when we’re young, we are often expected to conform to certain norms. These include relating to being liked and accepted. We start to realise that inorder to be accepted or liked by the society we need to be ‘perfect’ . Leading to us be more stressed and pressured to be able please others and to seek unwanted external validation from everyone around us.

Know your values and morals . Know what to do to be better individual, what is important to you and the person you want to be helps you to care less about what others think.

Not everyone will like you, just as you don’t like everyone you meet either.
You can’t control the way other people react to you, no matter how hard you try or how good your intentions towards them may be.

The fact that you have no control over how other people think of you gives you a lot more freedom to focus your attention elsewhere.
Worrying about how other people may react to you can hold you back and stop you making changes in your life. If you have been holding off on this for fear of what you’ll look like to other people, a new outlook can pave the way for you to start making these changes.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Aakash Bagve and I am currently securing my Engineering degree in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication.
Now you guys must be wondering what am I doing here or how did I ended up here?

To be honest if you would asked me two years back that if I would writing blog or were interested in blogging or anything, I would have told that you were crazy!
But in these past two years I am really intrigued with the working of human psychology. It amazes me how much a session of therapy or counseling could be so influencial in change of human behaviour and mind.

All of us don’t recognise or we just brush off small symptoms such as from chronic pain to severe headaches, which could lead to mental and physical disorders. No one talks about this but in the past few years the rate of committing suicide has increased by a large amount and in majority , men are most likely to kill themselves with the issues or reasons lingering around their mental health and wellness.

Through this platform I want to communicate and notify everyone my views and opinions inorder to help you to better version of yourself by overcoming your past issues.

Being positive doesn’t mean you don’t ever have negative thoughts.
It just means that you don’t let those thoughts control your life.
